New kid on the block

Albarino is showing some solid potential both in viticulture and wine making all over New Zealand. Originally from Spain, Albarino’s new adopted home has taken the variety with open arms.
Here in the Bridge Pa Triangle, Albarino is battering her eye lashes at us this vintage. The fruit is showing stunning colour and flavours from 2021 so far and the vintage team are excited to harvest the fruit soon.
The 2018 Grand Reserve Advocate Albarino has amazing tropical and stone fruit characters on the nose and zesty fresh acidity to finish. It is versatile to a broad range of cuisines including good old kiwi kaimoana (seafood) Asian style dishes and aromatic Indian food.
