The Varieties
Sauvignon Blanc
Made from fruit grown on our Marlborough vineyards, with classic gooseberry and tropical fruit characters.
Semillon
A fruit driven style showing delicate tropical and citrus/lime flavours with mouth filling texture and length.
Chardonnay
A subtle, elegant style with complex characters of melon, stone fruit, almonds and hazelnuts.
Pinot Gris
With typical stonefruit characters, good concentration on the palate and a clean finish. It is an off-dry style well suited to seafood, white meats and Asian food styles.
Riesling
With typical floral citrus/lime flavours in a tight style with a touch of sweetness on the finish.
Pinot Noir
Ripe cherry flavours with layers of spice and game complexity, finishing with soft and light tannins.
Merlot/Cabernet Franc/Malbec
Red and black berryfruit, plums, licorice and chocolate, integrated with spicy, savoury oak and finely textured tannins.
Syrah
Dark purple in colour with ripe brambly fruit and cracked pepper characters. Supple tannins provide great drinkability when young but it will also cellar comfortably for 4-5 years.
