The Sileni wines are based on classic varieties including Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec and Semillon from Bordeaux, as well as Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Burgundy and more recently Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Pinot Gris have been introduced. Crafted using traditional techniques, the wines are complex and mouthfilling, with great finesse. They are approachable young but offer excellent cellaring potential.

Satyr Selection
High quality varietals that fit between our Cellar Selection and Estate Selection ranges. Satyrs were exotic creatures from Roman mythology who were associated with the bacchanalian habits of the Sileni, after whom the winery is named. The Satyr wines are ripe, balanced and full flavoured expressions of their variety and region. Cellaring 2-5 years. |

The range that has established our reputation as a producer of ultra-premium quality wines. The dry gravel soils and ideal climatic conditions of our vineyards combine with traditional wine making methods to produce concentrated, complex and harmonious wines. Cellaring 4-10 years. |

Sileni EV (Exceptional Vintage) icon wines are only produced in outstanding vintages. The wines have great depth, concentration and complexity of flavour and are the ultimate expression of their terroir. Cellaring 5-15 years
